Cretan olive oil is one of the most valuable products of the Cretan land, which is why it is also called the "liquid gold" of Crete. For many years now we, the Papadospyridakis family, have been cultivating olive trees for the production of organic olive oil. Our priority is not only the quality, but also the taste of our olive oil, and that is why we cultivate two varieties of olive trees: the Chondrolia and the Koroneiki. With this combination we achieve a unique taste and quality of our oil. The olive harvest season lasts from November until February. After that the olives are transferred to a certified organic olive mill where our organic extra virgin olive oil is produced by the cold press method that allows maintaining its high nutritional value.
